Call recording for business: automatic, with notice, transcribed and summarized
Reeco records every call that reaches your business number, tells the caller it is doing so, transcribes the call and sends you a summary with tasks and meetings within minutes. The recording happens in the cloud, not on your phone, so it works on any handset, iPhone or Android, without installing a recording app and without pressing anything.
No commitment. Cancel online anytime. Then $129 a month.
Callers hear a short notice that the call is recorded. You stay on the right side of the recording rules in every state.
How cloud call recording works
- Get a local business number from Reeco, or forward your existing business number to it.
- A customer calls the business number, hears a short notice that the call is recorded, and the call rings your regular mobile with the caller's own number.
- The call is recorded on two separate channels (you and the customer), so the transcript knows who said what.
- When the call ends the recording is encrypted, transcribed and summarized, and a notification reaches your phone.
Why cloud recording beats a recording app
- It works on iPhone: Apple does not let apps record cellular calls, and recording at the network side gets around that limit.
- It works on recent Android too: Google blocked most recording apps from the store, and many handsets have no built-in recorder.
- The notice is handled for you: callers hear it on every call, so you never have to remember to say it.
- Better quality: each side is recorded on its own channel, with no speakerphone noise and no faint second voice.
- Nothing lives on your phone: recordings are encrypted (AES-256) and stored in the cloud, so a lost or replaced phone does not wipe your history.
- More than a recording: a full transcript, a summary, tasks, calendar entries and a page for every customer.
What you get after every call
- The full recording, playable in the app from any device.
- A transcript with speaker labels, in the language of the call.
- A short summary: what you talked about and what was agreed.
- Tasks, yours and the customer's, with the exact moment in the recording where they were said.
- Meetings and dates that go into the app calendar, and a morning brief with what is on today.
- A follow-up message ready to send by WhatsApp or SMS.
Who automatic call recording is for
Any business that runs on the phone: lawyers who need a record of what the client said, estate agents handling dozens of calls a day, contractors and electricians who take measurements and addresses over the phone, consultants, therapists, accountants and freelancers. Instead of scribbling notes mid-call, you talk and Reeco writes.
Legality and privacy
Recording a call you take part in is lawful in the United States, the United Kingdom and the EU when the other party is told. Reeco tells them: every call starts with a short recording notice, and where the law asks for an explicit yes the caller confirms with a key press before the call goes through. Recordings are deleted automatically on the retention schedule you choose.
This is general information, not legal advice. For a specific situation (using a recording in court, recording employees, publishing a recording) ask a lawyer in your country.
Frequently asked questions
How much does business call recording cost with Reeco?
Reeco is a monthly subscription with a free trial. Every plan includes a business number, a monthly minute allowance, recording with a caller notice, transcription and AI summaries. Prices are shown in your currency on the pricing page, and you can cancel online at any time.
Do I need to change my number to record calls?
No. You can take a new business number from Reeco, forward your existing business number to it, or keep everything as it is and record only missed calls through smart voicemail. You choose in the setup wizard and can switch between the options at any time.
Does Reeco record outbound calls too?
Yes. On the Pro plan you tap "call back" in the app, Reeco connects the call through your business number, the person you call hears the recording notice, and the outbound call is recorded, transcribed and summarized exactly like an inbound one.
Does the other party hear that the call is recorded?
Yes. Every call through Reeco begins with a short notice that the call is recorded, in the language of your region. The notice stays on in regions that require it; you cannot switch it off there, and Reeco handles it so you never have to remember.
