Privacy policy
Last updated:
Draft. This page is being reviewed by counsel for your country and may change before launch. The Hebrew policies at reeco.app govern until then.
Reeco handles recordings, transcripts and summaries of your business calls. This policy explains what we store, why, for how long, who processes it and what you and your callers can ask of us.
1. What we store
- Account data: name, email, business name, trade, the mobile number calls are bridged to, billing status.
- Call data: the caller's number, time and duration, the recording, the transcript, the AI summary, tasks and follow-up drafts.
- Usage data: app logins, notification subscriptions, the pages you visit on the marketing site (subject to your cookie choice).
2. Why and on what basis
- To provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract): bridging, recording with notice, transcription, summaries.
- To bill you and keep the accounts the law requires (legal obligation).
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).
- To measure and advertise the marketing site, only with your consent where the law requires it.
3. Your callers
Callers hear a notice that the call is recorded before they are connected, and where required they confirm with a key press. You decide what to do with the recordings of your business calls; Reeco processes them on your behalf and does not use them for any purpose of its own.
4. AI processing
Transcription and summaries are produced by AI providers under contracts that forbid training on your data. Reeco does not sell call data and does not use your calls to train models.
5. Retention
- Recordings and transcripts: deleted automatically after the retention period you choose (90 days by default, up to a year on Pro).
- Summaries and tasks: kept while your account is open, deleted 30 days after it closes.
- Billing records: kept as long as tax law requires.
6. Processors and transfers
Reeco uses a telephony carrier, cloud storage, AI providers, a push notification service and Freemius for payments. Where data leaves your region it is protected by the safeguards the law in your country requires. The list of processors for your region is published with the signed version of this policy.
7. Security
Recordings are encrypted at rest with AES-256 using a key only Reeco holds, served only inside the app over HTTPS, and access is logged. Phone numbers and transcript text are never written to application logs.
8. Your rights
You can access, export, correct or delete your data from the app or by writing to privacy@reeco.app, and you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. Callers can write to the same address; we forward requests about recordings to the account holder, who decides as the controller of their business calls.
