About Reeco
What is Reeco?
Reeco is a cloud phone system and business memory for solo professionals and small businesses. You get a local business number (or keep your own), every call to it rings your regular mobile, is recorded with a notice to the caller, transcribed and summarized automatically by AI: a title, a short summary, tasks, important details and meetings that go straight into the calendar in the app. The summary is waiting in the app with a push notification within minutes.
How does Reeco work?
Three steps: (1) get a local business number or forward your existing one; (2) answer calls as usual on your mobile, with the caller's own number and no special app; the caller hears a short notice that the call is recorded; (3) when the call ends you get a push notification, and the app holds a full transcript, a summary, tasks and important details. Meetings agreed on the call go straight into the app calendar.
Who is Reeco for?
Anyone whose phone is their main work tool: tradespeople, contractors, estate and real estate agents, solicitors and lawyers, consultants, therapists, accountants, studio owners and freelancers. Tell Reeco your trade in Settings and the summaries focus on the details that matter to you: job addresses, case numbers, models and delivery dates.
Do I need to install an app?
Calls themselves ring your phone's normal dialer, no app needed. Summaries, recordings and tasks live in the Reeco web app, which you add to your home screen in one tap (a PWA) and which sends notifications. No app store and no updates.
Is Reeco a mobile carrier?
No. Reeco provides the business number and the recording, transcription and summary layer. Calls reach your existing mobile through your own carrier. If you want to keep your personal number as the business number you need a second line (SIM or eSIM), bought separately from a carrier.
The number and the setup
Do I have to change my business phone number?
No. There are three ways to connect: a new local business number from Reeco; forwarding your existing number (a landline or a separate line) so every call is recorded and summarized; or smart voicemail, where you keep your number and mobile exactly as they are and only missed calls reach Reeco to be transcribed and summarized. You choose in the setup wizard and can switch at any time.
What happens to a call I do not answer?
It goes to Reeco's smart voicemail. The caller leaves a message, the message is transcribed and summarized like any other call, and you get a notification with the gist, so you call back knowing what it was about.
Can I call out from the business number?
Yes, on the Pro plan. Tap "call back" in the app, Reeco rings your mobile and connects you to the customer through your business number. The person you call hears the same short recording notice, and the call is recorded, transcribed and summarized like an inbound one.
Does the caller see my personal mobile number?
No. Customers see and dial your business number. Your personal mobile stays private, even when you call back from the app.
Recording, notice and privacy
Does the other party hear that the call is recorded?
Yes. Every call through Reeco begins with a short notice that the call is recorded, in the language of your region, before you are connected. Where the law asks for an explicit yes, the caller confirms with a key press before the call goes through. Reeco keeps the notice on for you; it cannot be switched off in regions that require it.
Is recording calls legal where I am?
Recording a call you take part in is lawful in the United States, the United Kingdom and the EU when the other party is told, and Reeco tells them on every call. Some places ask for an explicit yes, which Reeco collects with a key press. This is general information, not legal advice; for a specific situation (using a recording in court, recording employees) ask a lawyer.
Where are recordings stored and who can hear them?
Recordings are encrypted with AES-256 using a key only Reeco holds, stored in the cloud and played only inside the app after you log in. They are deleted automatically on the retention schedule you choose (90 days on Solo, up to a year on Pro). Reeco does not sell call data and does not use your calls to train AI models.
Which languages does Reeco transcribe?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Arabic and Hebrew, with automatic detection. The summary and the follow-up message are written in the language of the call.
Plans and billing
How much does Reeco cost?
Reeco is a monthly subscription with a free trial. The Solo plan includes a business number, a monthly minute allowance, recording with notice, transcription and AI summaries; the Pro plan adds more minutes, calling out from the app and longer retention. Prices are shown in your currency on the pricing page.
What happens after the free trial?
Billing starts automatically when the trial ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. You can cancel online at any time from Settings; the service runs until the end of the period you paid for.
How do I cancel?
From Settings in the app, in two taps, no phone call and no email required. Your number and recordings stay available until the end of the paid period, and you can undo the cancellation until then.
